As part of this process, young community members are actively engaged in observation, documentation, and research activities carried out within their own territory. This work recognizes and strengthens local knowledge, fostering dialogue between ancestral knowledge, shared by elders and scientific research.
Through this initiative, the Observatory seeks to promote the generation of place-based knowledge, built from the territory and in close collaboration with the Indigenous communities who inhabit and protect it.
